NATIONAL TELEVISION ACADEMY ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF
  EMMY AWARDS FOR BUSINESS & FINANCIAL REPORTING
 
Lifetime Achievement Award Presented to
 The Wall Street Journal’s Paul Steiger

Webcast of Awards Ceremony Currently Available

New York, December 7, 2006 – The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences today announced the winners of the 4th Annual Emmy® Awards for Business & Financial Reporting in a luncheon ceremony at the Rainbow Room in New York City.  The event was sponsored by Condé Nast Portfolio, a new business magazine and website that is launching in May 2007.

The 4th Annual Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting was webcast LIVE at www.tvworldwide.com and the TV Mainstream Internet TV channel at www.tvmainstream.com starting at 12:00 noon Eastern time and will be available on those websites for a year after the event.  The webcast is sponsored by Limelight Networks, the leader in digital media delivery.

At the ceremony, Emmy Awards were presented in seven categories. The Emmy Awards for Business & Financial Reporting recognize outstanding achievement in business & financial reporting telecast from July 1, 2005 thru June 30, 2006.

In addition, the Lifetime Achievement Award in Business & Financial Reporting was presented to Paul Steiger, Managing Editor of The Wall Street Journal, overseeing U.S. and international print and online editions, and Vice President of Dow Jones & Company.  Presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to Steiger were Maria Bartiromo, the anchor of CNBC’s Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo, and host and managing editor of Wall Street Journal Report with Maria Bartiromo;  and Byron E. (Barney) Calame, former Deputy Managing Editor, The Wall Street Journal, and currently Public Editor of The New York Times.

Also among the speakers were Peter Price, President/CEO, National Television Academy; Joanne Lipman, Editor-in-Chief, Condé Nast Portfolio,  and former Deputy Managing Editor of The Wall Street Journal and Editor-in-Chief of Weekend Journal;
and Bill Small, Chairman, News and Documentary Emmy Awards, who presented the awards on behalf of the Academy.

The breakdown of the awards by network, as compiled by the independent accountancy firm of Lutz and Carr, LLP, is:
