Herbert A. Granath is Chairman Emeritus, ESPN; Board member of Ron Lauder’s Central European Media (CME); and Co-Chairman of Crown Media Holdings, which owns and operates The Hallmark Channel. Active in international media ventures, Mr. Granath also serves as Chairman and CEO of Media and Entertainment Holdings Inc., a SPAC investment company specializing in worldwide media properties, and acts as senior programming consultant for Telenet, Belgium’s leading cable company.

Previously, Mr. Granath was Chairman, Disney/ABC International, where he was responsible for the international television production and program distribution activities of The Walt Disney Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, ABC, Inc.

Mr. Granath had a long and distinguished career at ABC where he was a pioneer in many aspects of the television business. He led ABC into the cable and international arenas and helped position the company as the leader in these fields.

During this time, he served as Chairman of the Board of ESPN, A&E, The History Channel, The Biography Channel and Lifetime Television.

Internationally, he was a founding partner and Board member of Eurosport, the largest cable network in Europe. He also served on the Boards of Telefunf, RTL2 and TM3 networks in Germany, Scandinavian Broadcasting Systems (SBS) and TVA, the Brazilian Pay-TV company.

An early believer in European local television production, he brought ABC into partnership with, and joined the Boards of Telemunchen (Germany), Hamster (France) and Tesauro (Spain) production companies.

Over the past twenty years, Mr. Granath managed ABC’s theater investments through the company’s partnership with The Shubert Organization.

Active in many areas within and outside broadcasting, he is past-president of the International Council of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and is currently National Vice Chairman of NATAS. He is a Trustee of the American Museum of the Moving Image, a member of the Trans-Atlantic Dialogue on European Broadcasting, the League of New York Theaters and Producers, and the Satellite Programming Committee of the National Cable Television Association. He serves on the board of Theater For a New Audience, which brings Shakespeare into New York City schools. He is past-president of the Veterans Bedside Network and has been a member of the New York City Council for Motion Pictures Radio and Television. Included in the numerous awards he has received are two Tony awards, along with six Tony nominations, an International Emmy (Lifetime Achievement in International Television) as well as a National Emmy (Lifetime Achievement in Sports Television).

Mr. Granath was graduated from Fordham University where he also did his graduate work. He was a member of Fordham’s Board of Trustees for six years. In 1996, Mr. Granath received an honorary doctorate from Trinity College. He served in the United States Army, assigned to Special Services as a writer/producer.

He is married to actress Ann Flood. They have four children, Kevin, Brian, Peter and Karen and reside in Darien, Connecticut.

Peter O. Price is President and CEO of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Previously, he was President of Television Tonight, a venture between the major television networks and movie chains, and President of "Television USA", a joint venture with The Wall Street Journal.

Mr. Price first entered the television industry as the Founder and President of Cable Networks, Inc., and more recently as President of Liberty Cable Television from 1990 to 1997. He is active in the media and entertainment industry as a Board Member of RKO Pictures, a member of the Media Center of The Museum of Television & Radio, and a member of the Executive Roundtable of the New York New Media Association.

Mr. Price began his media career as a summer intern at the Wall Street Journal when attending Princeton University, where he graduated with honors in 1962. He subsequently graduated from Yale Law School, then served as an officer in the United States Air Force before joining New York City government as Counsel To The Taxi Commission.

From 1966 to 1970 he held a series of management positions at TIME-LIFE before becoming Director of Corporate Development of TIME Incorporated. He left to become President of Media Networks, Inc. (MNI) and after selling the firm to 3M, managed MNI as a subsidiary of the 3M Company until 1986. In 1987 he was named Publisher of the New York Post and, subsequently, President and Publisher of the National Sports Daily.

Mr. Price is active in educational and civic affairs. Until recently he was Chairman of the Board of Governors of Eugene Lang College, a Trustee of The New School University, and a member of the Conference of University Board Chairmen. He is Chairman of The Avenue Association and a Trustee of the Colbert Foundation. He has served as an Advisor to the Governments of France and the United States on Telecommunications policy as Chairman of the Video Dial Tone Association in Washington, DC; and as Chairman of the Iinternational Chapter of The Young Presidents Organization.

Mr. Cohen, an Entertainment, Media and Criminal Defense attorney, is a partner of Cohen, Cooper, Estep & Mudder & Whiteman LLC, and previously a partner with Katz, Smith & Cohen in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a former Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Dade County, Florida, and Assistant District Attorney in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. His Entertainment practice includes representation of television anchors, actors, photographers, models and talent agencies. Further, he is involved with numerous syndicated television programs. As a criminal defense lawyer, he has represented an entire spectrum of clients for over thirty years. Many of his clients and cases are high profile entertainment-related cases covered by the national media.

Mr. Cohen was previously 2nd Vice Chairman of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) based in New York; current Legal Chairman of the Northern California Chapter; Trustee and immediate Past President of the Southeast Chapter of NATAS; and a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) based in Hollywood, California.

An attorney, commentator, master of ceremonies, actor and model, Mr. Cohen has appeared in numerous television commercials, episodic television programs, industrial films, as well as principal actor in a daytime soap opera. He has served as President and National Board Member of the Screen Actors Guild, Georgia branch, and for many years served on the Atlanta Board of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). Mr. Cohen has co-hosted several local television telethons and was a regular on-camera spokesperson for WPBA-TV’s pledge drives and Master of Ceremonies for numerous local events. He appeared regularly on WXIA-TV/Channel 11, the NBC affiliate, as the lawyer for their live televised “Noonday” program, and CNN/HNN. Currently, he provides national on-air legal commentary for CNN/HNN, the Fox-News Channel and local Atlanta television stations, including WXIA TV/Channel 11.

Mr. Cohen has been Chairman of the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia twice. He has chaired numerous seminars and other educational programs and is Co-founder and Permanent Chairman of the Annual Southern Regional Entertainment and Sports Law Conference. He is a past Chairman of the Entertainment Arts and Sports Law Section (EASL) of the Florida Bar Association. He is also a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Cobb Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association and The Sports Lawyers Association.

Award-winning producer Janice Selinger is deputy executive director for production at NJN Public Television and supervises the creation and production of local and original shows. She manages the Production, Programming, Media Productions, Pledge, Special Projects, Graphics, Closed Captioning and Project Budgeting functions of the Public Television Network. She is also executive producer in charge of development and production of many national and local documentaries for NJN. Her major projects include Domestic Violence: Faces of Fear; Battered Wives, Shattered Lives; Throwaway Pets; Mission from the Heart; Alice Paul: Crusader for Equality; and Reliving the Lindbergh Case, all of which have aired nationally on PBS. Ms. Selinger served as co-executive producer for NJN's first international co-production, Speak of Me As I Am, a documentary that examined the life and times of Paul Robeson and was co-produced with the BBC and NVC Arts.

Ms. Selinger has won numerous awards, including eleven regional Emmy awards, a 1986 National Headliner Award, a 1989 Corporation for Public Broadcasting Silver Award, the 1987 Vanguard Award and a National Commendation Award from American Women in Radio and Television. Ms. Selinger won a Gracie Award for New Media for the web site outreach and documentary Seeking Solutions, a program that examined innovative programs aimed at stemming violence in our schools. Reliving the Lindbergh Case received a Corporation for Public Broadcasting Silver Award in 1989. Battered Wives: Shattered Lives garnered the 1985 National Headliner Award for Outstanding Public Service by a Television Network. Ms. Selinger has received awards from the Associated Press, Sigma Delta Chi, and New Jersey Bar Association.

Prior to joining NJN in 1979, Ms. Selinger worked at WCBS-TV in New York where she was associate producer for the Emmy Award-winning consumer affairs show, On Your Side with John Stossel, and the documentary series, Channel 2-Eye On. A native of East Brunswick, NJ, Ms. Selinger holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Penn State University and a master’s in public administration from Rutgers University. She is a member of Phi Bata Kappa and teaches in the Communication Studies Department at the College of New Jersey.

On June 9, 2006, the Trustees of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences elected Malachy Wienges as their National Treasurer. Wienges just completed his first two year term in this position. He also serves on the executive board of the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter. Wienges also served the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences as its National Vice Chairman from 1994-1998 (two terms), and as its National Treasurer from 1990-1994. In addition, he was the National Trustee of the Rocky Mountain Chapter from 2004-2006, and the National Trustee of the New York Chapter from 1988-1993. He also served these chapters as their National Alternate Trustee.

Wienges spent an illustrious 31 years at the CBS Television Network. He began as a management trainee and rose to positions ranging from the Director of CBS, New York Operations, to Vice President, Sales/Marketing and Technical Systems.  From 1975-1985, he was producer of The CBS Thanksgiving Day Parades for which he was nominated for two Emmys. Mal also received two National Emmys, including one for technical achievement for the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, and a second National Emmy in 1992 for the NFL on CBS.

Wienges is credited with originating the concept of remote production for daytime dramas (soap operas) when he took The Guiding Light to the Bahamas in 1976. Since then, Mal has participated in more than 150 location productions. Wienges was also nominated for three Daytime Emmys.

Wienges is an honors graduate from C.W. Post College with a B.S. in atomic and nuclear physics. He obtained a Masters of Science degree in engineering management from Long Island University. In addition, he is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).  In 1975, Wienges was elected President of the 30,000 member Alumni Association of C.W. Post College, and served in this position for five years. Wienges has received national recognition including being listed in Outstanding Young Men of America,  Who’s Who in Management and in the millennium edition of Who’s Who in Entertainment.

Wienges is currently President of Sedona Broadcasting, and serves as a television consultant to the Warner Bros. Television Network and IBM.

In 2005, Wienges was appointed by Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano to serve on The Arizona Film and Television Commission.

He resides with his wife, Noreen, in Sedona, Arizona, where he serves locally on the executive boards of The Sedona 30 and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce.

Jamie Jensen is Vice President of Development and Marketing at The Hope Heart Institute, a heart research and education organization in Seattle.

Jamie is a 16-year veteran of television news production. She began her career as a producer/reporter/weather anchor at KYMA-TV in Yuma, Arizona. For more than 12 years, she worked in the Seattle television market as a news and special projects producer at KIRO-TV and as a documentary and special projects producer at KOMO-TV.

As a non-profit executive, Ms. Jensen still acts as a freelance producer for NBC news including the Today Show, Dateline and NBC Nightly News. She is also called back occasionally to produce special programs and events at Seattle television stations.

Jamie has also produced for corporations including Nestle, Group Health Cooperative, Cell Therapeutics, Inc., and Pathogenesis. She has been a speaker on media issues at northwest educational conferences as well as for Journalism students at Pacific Lutheran University. She also started a consulting business assisting non-profits with media relations and fundraising.

Community service is at the heart of everything Ms. Jensen does. She recently completed a term as Director of Entertainment for the Kitsap County Fair and Stampede, in Bremerton, Washington. She has served on executive committees and as a board member for several Seattle non-profit organizations including: The Woodland Park Zoo Society -Wildkeepers and Rise n' Shine.

Jamie is the National Trustee and immediate Past-President for the Northwest Chapter of the National Television Academy. She joined the Board of that chapter in 1995 as Membership Committee Chair. She then served four years as Chair of the Emmy Awards Committee. She also served two years as Vice President and four years as President. She has also had the opportunity to serve as recording Secretary at Board meetings and Board retreats when the Secretary was unable to attend.

Harold Crump is Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., a position he has held since 1997.

Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Crump was General Manager of KSTP-TV in St. Paul, Minnesota, and was owner/operator of WCSC-TV in Charleston, South Carolina. From 1983-1986 he was President of Broadcast Group, H & C Communications, Inc., where he was responsible for the purchase, evaluation and operation of H & C’s six major market television stations and one standalone AM (KPRC-TV Houston, WTVF Nashville, KVOA-TV Tucson, WESH-TV Orlando, KCCITV Des Moines, KSAT-TV San Antonio, KPRC-AM Houston).

Mr. Crump has also served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the NBC affiliate in Houston, KPRC-TV. During that time he was elected Vice Chairman of the NBC Affiliates Board of Directors.

Mr. Crump was in the United States Air Force from 1953-1955 and attained the rank of First Lieutenant, Base Commander, Freising Air Force Base, Germany. He began his career in broadcasting a year later in sales at WLAC-TV Nashville, where he eventually was appointed Executive Vice President and General Manager. During that same period he was General Manager of 21st Century Productions, where he produced syndicated music programs, network musical specials and such nationally successful programs as Candid Camera and Hee Haw.

In addition to his corporate work, Mr. Crump is an active member of numerous community and national organizations. He is on the Board of Directors of Broadcast Music, Inc. and the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He is also a member of the Minnesota Broadcasters Association and Broadcast Pioneers. In 1997 Mr. Crump was appointed to the Presidential Advisory Committee on the Public Interest Obligation of Digital TV Broadcasters, a position he held for three years.

Mr. Crump currently serves on the National Television Academy’s Executive Committee as Chairman's Representative and is the Audit Committee Chairman. He has also served as Trustee at the Upper Midwest Chapter, where in 2003 he received a Silver Circle Lifetime Achievement Award.

Roger L. Ogden is the President and CEO of Gannett Broadcasting Division, overseeing 21 television stations reaching 17.9% of US television homes. On March 28, 2006, Roger Ogden was also named Senior Vice President of Design, Innovation and Strategy for Gannett Co., Inc.

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Mr. Ogden served as General Manager for K*USA-TV, the Gannett-owned NBC affiliate in Denver, Colorado and as Senior Vice President, Gannett Television. Mr. Ogden serves on the Gannett Management Committee and the Gannett Broadcasting Operating Committee. He was honored as Gannett’s 2004 Manager of the Year.

Before rejoining Gannett, Mr. Ogden had been President and Managing Director of NBC Europe since July 1995. He oversaw the day-to-day operations of NBC Europe and CNBC Europe. He was also heavily involved in NBC’s international operations in Mexico, managing NBC’s co-operative efforts with TV Azteca, Mexico’s second largest television group. He had also been in charge of overseeing operations for the NBC station, KUTV in Salt Lake City.

Mr. Ogden began his broadcast career in Denver at the age of 13 at radio station KPOF. He worked at stations KLIR and KBTR while attending school. He later held management positions at WLKY-TV, Louisville, Kentucky and K*USA-TV, Denver, Colorado, KCNC-TV, also in Denver, where, for fourteen years he had been President and General Manager. Two years later, he was named Senior Vice President of Gannett Broadcasting and a member of the Gannett Broadcast Operating Committee. He was also appointed a vice president of Gannett Broadcasting and one of his major responsibilities was an emphasis on new media.

Mr. Ogden is active in many community organizations, including Chairman of the Greater Denver Chamber of Commerce, President of the Colorado Broadcasters Association and Chairman of the Colorado Winter Games Committee and the US Olympic Festival.
