WILLIAM B. BECKER

Bill is President of Becker Information Group, LLC and is actively involved in writing, producing and field-producing Video News Releases and other television projects for corporate clients in the U.S. and overseas.

Prior to starting his firm, Bill worked for 23 years in Top 10 Market television news. During that time he received four Emmy awards for Investigative Reporting, Newswriting and News Commentary. He helped to establish the National Television Academy Job Bank in Michigan, and has served as a Governor of the Michigan Chapter as well as Alternate National Trustee.

Bill Becker is also well-known for his work in the history of photography. He’s the founder of the American Museum of Photography, a virtual museum (www.photographymuseum.com ) that’s one of the most popular photography destinations on the web and a former Yahoo! “Pick of the Year.” Bill’s been invited to speak on early photography at colleges and museums around the country, has curated a number of exhibitions, and published magazine articles and a book. He’s also the author of the one-man play Brady of Broadway about Civil War photographer Mathew Brady; the show has been produced and presented at venues including the Smithsonian Institution.

Bill is married to Frances J. Becker, R.N.; they have two children.
