RECENT WINNERS



For more than a decade, NATAS has awarded a scholarship, currently valued at $40,000, to a high school student intending to majoring in communications and planning a career in television or a related field. This John Cannon Memorial Scholarship, named for a former president of the Television Academy, may be used for tuition, books, living expenses, and other related costs. The selection process is under the direction of a Scholarship Committee chaired by Dr. Norman Felsenthal, Professor Emeritus of Communications at Temple University in Philadelphia. Applicants undergo a competitive three-tier evaluation process conducted by NATAS Trustees and the winner is notified prior to April 1.
