BETSY BEHRENS

Betsy Behrens is the Trustee for the Suncoast Chapter. From 1977 to 1979, she was the Suncoast Chapter Administrator. In 1980 and 1981, she was the Chapter Secretary. Since 1982, she has been and continues to be the Chapter Treasurer.

In 1964, Betsy and her husband, Bob, started a television production and distribution company in Miami, Florida specializing in quality children’s programming. Her roles in the company included all of the financial work, some of the production work, most of the work of administrating the office and staff and the obligation each year to bake 500 chocolate chip cookies for their clients at the NATPE convention, where many grateful clients advised her that the company should sell the cookies and give away the program.
